Question
Why was the rate 75 öre when this parcel was forwarded?
Answer
The German rate for international parcels up to 5 kg was 160 pf, and the rate is (of course) paid with German stamps. When a parcel was forwarded, new rate was required. The Swedish parcel rate for parcels that weighted 3-5 kg was 75 öre in 1915, so the postage due and the payment with 75 öre in Swedish stamps seems to be correct (although explicit information about the weight cannot be seen on the card).
A funny detail is the content: marzipan. The parcel arrived in Stockholm a few days before Christmas, but did not reach the addressee in Östersund until 30th December. Hopefully she survived Christmas without marzipan and had a happy new year.
